ROW80 Round 2 Goals
Firstly, I get on better with monthly goals, rather than for the eighty days. ROW80 is about flexibility in goal setting and moving them as life dictates, but if you’re fully orientated to achieving goals, you need to draw a line as to how much flexibility you build in there. Mine are for a month, re-assessed each month.
- April – My goals sit with the Blogging from A to Z April Challenge. This includes an attempt at 26 days of short fiction writing. I’m scared. The challenge also includes reading and commenting on other blogs. It’s quite a commitment.
- May – free from all that blogging, I intend moving fully back to my WIP novel. 2 hours of writing minimum per day, 5 days a week. Also, May sees the Sydney Writer’s Festival events – I have my eye on two or three of these (a couple include my nine year old daughter) to attend. The agenda and tickets are just out this weekend, I just need to find the money somehow.
- June – continuation of novel draft work, hopefully moving into rewrites phase. To be reassessed closer to time.
