As a thriller writer, I deal with subject matters which won’t be to everyone’s liking. I am a novelist normally, so the short fiction you may (or may not) find on this blog are my first attempts at shorter fiction, still with a central theme. I don’t expect everyone to want to read, or enjoy these. Please watch for the forewarning introductions on these posts.
In the meantime, if you do have an interest in serial criminals, particularly the typology, profiling and psychology behind such crimes, then you may want to browse over to my platform blog, where for the Blogging from A to Z Challenge, I am currently posting up a series on Serious Crimes. I don’t provide detailed descriptions of real life crimes, nor do the posts include graphic images of real life victims. I prefer to concentrate on the reasonings and catching of such criminals. So far you will find –
- B for BAU (FBI) – as a non-American, I’ve always harboured a fascination with the FBI – haven’t you?
Coming up in the series you will find not only some more serial killer types but lots on investigation techniques, lie detection, typologies used by criminal profilers, and even something about criminal statistics for our X or Y generations to end the series with.
