I like the idea of making a short to-do list with only 3 items on it. It provides more chance for success, then you feel good about accomplishing something, and maybe eager to try to get something else done. Great post!
Cute! I love the graphic. I like the 3 tasks a day. I actually did this today but several of my plans have already been thwarted. Still, I’m procrastinating on another one that I CAN do. 🙂
I think the small rewards point is very well made. I agree with most of what you’re saying, but I think the small rewards are often overlooked. I really believe in blocking out 1 hour segments of writing, and then taking a short break. I even knew a writer/professor who would essentially say to himself “After 1 hour of honest, solid writing effort, I get to have 1 Gummy Bear.”
